Julie HespenheideAdministrative Assistant: Membership
Julia “Julie” Hespenheide has been hired as a full-time Membership Administrative Assistant to work in the CCFB office in Countryside. Julie is originally from Pennsylvania and relocated to the southwest suburbs of Chicago in late 2021 to be closer to family. Julie has been working as a Wine Team Associate with Binny’s Beverage since November 2021.
Prior to relocating to Illinois, Julie’s 20-plus years of experience in PA include Inside Sales Representative/Customer Service for Craftsman Company and Administrative Assistant Supervisor for Optum Health. While working full time, Julie also worked part time for a Penn State professor, creating and managing a database of east coast based indoor agriculture operations consisting of box car ag, vertical farming, hoop house operations, hydroponics, microgreens, as well as a part time Wine Associate.
In addition to some prior knowledge of agriculture, Julie brings solid customer service experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid understanding of Microsoft 365, data entry, working in a team environment, and other skills.
In her spare time Julie likes to spend time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter. She is looking forward to exploring and learning more about the area.
