Former Cook County Farm Bureau® President Jim Gutzmer (pictured left) discusses Farm Bureau’s effort in local government advocacy with State Representative Hurley during this year’s Statewide Legislative Reception in Springfield.  Representative Hurley represents portions of Chicago and Cook County and recently received a 2022 Friend of Agriculture award in recognition of outstanding voting record.

Newly elected Representative Abdelnasser Rashid (pictured left) meets with Farm Bureau board member Jim Gutzmer during a late winter legislative reception.  Representative Rashid resides in Bridgeview and has extensive experience in government as well as an undergraduate degree from Harvard University as well as a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
