Powerful Pollinators: All about Butterflies and Bees

Bees pollinate about 900 food crops worldwide and 60-70% of the world’s flowering plants. Learn all about pollinators, including bees and butterflies, with a story time, arts and crafts project, a hands-on activity, and a themed snack. Topics covered in this program full of fun STEM activities will include what is pollination, why pollination is important, how honey and fruit are made, and the lifecycle of Monarch butterflies. This program is for elementary-school aged students and their families. The program is free to attend, but please register in advance. Space is limited to the first 30 attendees.
