Conceal and Carry Class
The Illinois concealed carry permit certification consists of a minimum of 16 hours of training and range time. This class is a two-day class, broken into two 8-hour segments. The first eight hours takes place in the classroom covering gun safety, basic firearm knowledge and the basics of marksmanship, followed by two or more hours of actual live fire on the shooting range. The second eight hours takes place in the classroom covering Illinois laws pertaining to the “Concealed Carry Act” and the legal use of deadly force with a firearm.
DATE: Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28
TIME: Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
LOCATION: Pelcher’s Shooters Supply Classroom, 18200 Chicago Ave., Lansing, IL
FEE: $150 Members/$200 Non-Members (includes instructors, classroom, range fees, the use of .22 caliber firearms, eye and hearing protection, ammunition, targets, printed material and refreshments/lunch); $125 for vets or active military.
