Mr. Galassini grew up in South Holland, IL, which was once dubbed the “Onion Set Capital of the World”, so he gained an appreciation for agriculture at an early age. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a BS in Mathematics he worked in the oil industry for 30 years. The introduction of bio and renewable fuels allowed Mike to develop a unique perspective on the intersection of agriculture and energy.
During his corporate career Mike was involved in training both domestically and internationally, and he is currently a part-time educator focused on energy industry operations, fundamentals, and economics. Mike has a passion for teaching especially when it comes to the impact agriculture has on our everyday lives.
