Gerry Kopping has been a member of the Cook County Farm Bureau® Board of Directors since 2004 and serves as Vice-President as well as the Chairman of the Commodities and Marketing Team. Gerry along with his family operate Kopping Farms where they board 110 horses, farm 600-acres, custom farm 100-acres, and raise 35-head of cattle. In addition to Farm Bureau, Gerry is an active member of St. James at Sag Bridge Catholic Church in Lemont, the oldest Catholic church in Cook County; a member of the Lemont Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Lake Mason Association and serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors, Illinois and American Quarter Horse Associations; and a member of the Horsemen’s Council of Illinois. Gerry and his wife, Linda, have three adult children.
