How do we do this?
To accomplish the mission and vision, the board of Directors develop every 3 years an updated implementation strategy during a Strategic Planning session.

The Board of Directors established volunteer leadership from members.
The 6 Pillars of Action:
Farmers, Farm Owners, and those with an affinity for agriculture volunteer time, knowledge, and skills work together to grow and improve farming, agriculture and the Farm Bureau in urban Cook County. Five Teams meet periodically to develop programs, activities, services, and plans for a stronger farm presence in the area:

- Member Relations Team
- Governmental Affairs Committee
- Public Relations Team
- Young Leaders
