IL AITC Virtual Lessons and Family Field Trips Continue through July
Twelve-year-old entrepreneur Natalie Pratt kicked off the Illinois AITC virtual field trip experiences by showcasing her eighth Generation Family Farm in Dixon, Illinois. Natalie and her brother grow popcorn on the farm through their own business called Bubba Bug Popcorn which was featured during the first tour. Upcoming Thursday virtual trips for families and teachers include:
July 2: Illinois Pork
July 9: Visit the Staley Museum, Decatur Illinois: Soybean and the Chicago Bears!
July 16: Illinois Corn
July 23: TBD
July 28: Visit the Roegge Farm in Central Illinois
Additionally, educators can sign up for one-hour teacher workshops that provide lessons, books, and activities for use in their curriculum. The July dates and topics are shown below.
