2025 Bookmark Contest Theme: “Farming is Food”
Agriculture makes feeding the world possible! According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, one U.S. farm feeds 166 people annually. Farmers not only grow crops, such as corn and tomatoes, but also raise livestock, including cows for beef and dairy, pigs for pork, chickens for eggs, and bees for honey. We want YOU to show us how farmers work hard to help feed the world with the food they help produce. Open to students up to age 12.
Bookmark 2024 "Year of the Farmer" Winning Designs
Illinois Farm-Families coalition has declared 2023 the “Year of the Farmer." Did you know that 96% of all Illinois Farms are family owned? Cook County students showed up and showed us how farmers impact our lives and the importance of Illinois’ agriculture.
