Barbara Bhojraj
Barbara Bhojraj, or "Basia" as she is also called, hails from the Palos/Orland area where she resides with her husband, two sons, and two cats. She enjoys her summers serving as a volunteer gardener during the growing season on the Children's Farm at the Center in Palos Park. During the school year, she serves as a substitute teacher for the local school districts and thoroughly enjoys supporting the educational needs of children in her community. She is thrilled to extend her joy of teaching the subject of local agriculture to students in surrounding Cook County. Small farms in particular bring her fond memories of her time as a child at her ancestral family's property in Poland.
