The Master Urban Farmer Training Program provides participants the knowledge and skills to start a farm. Upon completion, participants will be able to visualize their plans and have the information necessary to move forward with their goals.

The Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation was founded in 1981 for the purpose of delivering strong leaders to maintain a safe, secure, and sustainable food supply in America.
Established by Illinois Farm Bureau in 1979, more than 1100 participants have graduated from this leadership program. ALOT provides select Illinois Farm Bureau members an opportunity to learn a broad range of skills to enrich their leadership abilities and provide a greater voice for agriculture in Illinois Benefit as an individual and as a group.
