Cook County Farm Bureau to Match Member Donations to Area Food Pantries
The impacts of COVID-19 will be felt for months to come. Families are suffering. Businesses are suffering. Farms are suffering. Together with members, Cook County Farm Bureau ® is poised to provide assistance to local food pantries during this difficult time in Illinois and the entire United States.
To aid Cook County food pantries, Farm Bureau will match member donations to Cook County food pantries up to $1,000. Members can specify the food pantry for their donation and Farm Bureau's match. Food pantries must be a registered 501(c)3 to be eligible for a donation. Member donations may be tax deductible.
Donations can be made by credit card by calling the Farm Bureau office at 708-354-3276 or by mail.
Donations will be accepted until January 29,2021.
