Pollinator Resources now Available on Farm Bureau Website
Pollinators, the busy bees behind the scenes, are essential for sustainability of our ecosystems and natural resources. Pollinator habitats also support bird populations, improve water quality by reducing nutrients and sediment in runoff, and provide forage for livestock. In order to help answer some of our farmer members’ questions, Farm Bureau has developed several resources surrounding pollinator conservation, including a Pollinator Habitat Guide for Agricultural Landscapes, Mowing for Monarchs guide and a series of pollinator videos. All materials are available on the Farm Bureau website at https://cookcfb.org/discover-local/for-the-love-of-gardening/Profile/party-for-the-pollinators.
