Learn about the magic of the soil beneath our feet with a story time, arts and crafts project, a science demonstration, and a soil-themed snack. Topics covered in this program full of fun STEM activities will include earthworms, what makes Illinois’ soil unique, the three different soil types, and how plants and crops grow in soil. This program is for elementary-school aged students and their families. The program is free to attend, but please register in advance. Space is limited to the first 30 attendees.
