DIY Holiday Barn Quilt Painting Workshop

Learn about the history of barn quilts and paint your own design during this 3-hour make-and-take workshop. A barn quilt is a piece of wood, painted in simple geometric patterns to resemble a quilting block, that is hung on the exterior of a building. During this beginner-level class, you will paint a 12x12 barn quilt design on wood to hang indoors. Barn quilts make a creative, personalized gift for the holidays, hosting, or to keep yourself.

Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Location: Cook County Farm Bureau – 6438 Joliet Rd. Countryside, IL 60525

Fee: $20 for CCFB members, $25 for non-members (Includes materials- board, stencil, paint, apron, etc.)
